Why On-Location

Get the whole team shot on the days they are actually in.

A tech team on a hybrid calendar is a moving target. Half the roster is remote on any given day, and asking each person to drive to a studio on their own time is how a headshot project drags on for a quarter and never finishes. On-location works with the pattern instead of against it. The photographer sets up in your building on a day the team is in, and everyone cycles through between stand-ups and meetings. The headshots get done at the office, on office days.

01

One setup on your floor, one standard for everyone.

The same light, background, and crop for every person, so an engineer photographed at nine and a VP photographed at four still match on the company page. Open-plan floors rarely have a clean backdrop of their own, so the whole controlled setup comes with the photographer and the space you have becomes the studio.

02

Built for the badge-access campus.

Tech campuses and office parks run on badge readers, a front-desk visitor check-in, and a facilities contact who wants to know who is arriving and what they are rolling in. That is straightforward. Send the access details with the quote and the photographer shows up credentialed, sets up in the space you assign, and leaves it the way it was.

03

The whole team across the in-office days.

Hybrid means the roster is never all in on one day. The session is scheduled for the days most of the team is on site, and it can split across two visits when a group works a different in-office rhythm. Nobody comes in on their remote day just for a photo.

04

New hires matched as the team grows.

A fast-growing company adds people every month, and a headshot from a random photographer always reads as off next to the set. When someone joins, their session is matched to the existing look, same light, background, and crop, so the newest hire sits beside the founding team with no seam.

Who Books This

Who brings a photographer to a north Austin office.

The Domain and the north Austin corridor are where the tech and enterprise headcount concentrates. The recurring buyers:

  • Software and tech companies scaling a team and wanting every profile on the site, in the pitch deck, and on LinkedIn to look like it belongs to one company.
  • Enterprise and regional offices at The Domain and Domain Northside standing up a current leadership and staff roster after a move or a reorg.
  • Startups past their first raise refreshing a founder-and-team page before a launch, a board meeting, or a fundraise.
  • Professional and financial services in the north office parks whose client-facing staff need current, credible photos on record.

The person organizing it is usually an office or people-ops lead, an executive assistant, a marketing or brand manager, or an HR coordinator running onboarding. This page settles what that person needs to know before looping in a decision-maker and asking for a quote.

How It Works

Four steps, built around your calendar.

01 · Plan

Tell us the scope.

Send the headcount, the office, and which days the team is in. You get a written quote with a per-person rate, the on-location setup, and a delivery timeline, priced to your job.

02 · Schedule

Pick the in-office day.

Sittings are set in short intervals on a day the team is on site, split across visits if groups come in on different days. You get a schedule to drop into the calendar.

03 · Shoot

We set up on your floor.

The photographer builds a full studio in the room you assign, directs each person through their sitting, and shows the frames on screen so selects are made on the spot.

04 · Deliver

Files on schedule.

Retouched, color-corrected, web and print-ready files land on the agreed timeline. As the team grows, new hires are matched to the set.

Capability

What we handle so you do not have to.

  • Teams to 500, shot to a single consistent standard.
  • On-location across The Domain and north Austin, the studio brought to your floor.
  • Badge access and visitor check-in arranged with your facilities contact.
  • Certificate of insurance provided to building or campus management on request.
  • In-session review, so selects are approved on your floor, not chased over email.
  • Consistent-roster matching as new hires join a growing team.
  • Usage rights for company site, LinkedIn, decks, and press, confirmed in the quote.
Quality Commitment

The look is settled on your floor.

Each person sees their frames on screen during the sitting, so the selects are approved before they get up from the chair. Nothing in the final files arrives as a surprise later.

If a delivered file does not meet the standard agreed at booking, it is corrected. This is a corporate Quality Commitment built for a team shoot, not a consumer refund policy.

Frequently Asked

Questions to settle before the quote.

What a people-ops lead or EA needs answered before looping in a decision-maker.

Do you come to our office, or do we send the team to you?
We come to you. For team work at The Domain and across north Austin, on-location is the default: the photographer brings a full studio to a room on your floor and the team is photographed on site. Anyone who would rather use the studio can, but the team session happens at your office.
Our floor is open-plan with no real backdrop. Does that work?
Yes. Open-plan floors almost never have a clean wall, so the setup is self-contained. The background, lighting, and everything the shot needs comes with the photographer and gets built in whatever space you assign, a corner of the floor, a conference room, or a breakout area.
Can you get badged into our building?
Yes. Campus and office-park access is routine: visitor check-in, a badge escort, and a certificate of insurance for building or campus management. Send your facilities contact and access requirements with the quote and it is arranged before the day.
Our team is hybrid and not everyone is in on the same day. How do you handle that?
The session is scheduled for the days most of the team is on site, and it can split across two visits when a group works a different in-office rhythm. Nobody has to come in on a remote day just for a photo.
We are hiring fast. How do headshots stay consistent as people join?
New hires are matched to the existing set: same light, background, and crop, so the newest person sits beside the rest. Send a sample of the current set at booking and the match is set up for each batch of joiners.
How many people can you photograph in a visit?
A full team in one visit is normal. Sittings run in short slots, a few minutes each, scheduled so nobody blocks off their day. Headcount sets the length of the visit, and the quote states it plainly.
How is a team session priced?
It is quoted to your job: a per-person rate, the on-location setup, and the delivery timeline, based on headcount and scope. Send your numbers and you get a written price. Corporate pricing is set by the job, not by the individual session menu.
You are close to The Domain. Is that an advantage?
It helps on scheduling. Being just up the road means short lead times, easy return visits for new-hire batches, and flexibility if an in-office day moves. The work itself is on-location either way, so the proximity is a convenience, not a requirement.
