ATX Headshots is a professional headshot studio in North Austin, serving individual professionals and corporate teams across the Austin metro. Ryan Dunbar is the photographer; he and Michael Wilkes founded the studio together.
Ryan Dunbar photographs every individual ATX Headshots session and leads every team day, at the studio in North Austin 20 minutes north of downtown Austin or on site anywhere in the Austin metro, with no travel fee. Individual sessions start at $295 + tax and team sessions at $1,900. Most sessions are delivered within 48 hours, every session within 72, with same-day rush available. He has photographed thousands of professionals, and Austin companies bring him in for their executive and leadership teams.
Every session is coached from start to finish. Posture, positioning, and expression guided by an experienced photographer with 21 years behind the camera and 11 years specializing in headshots. Ryan Dunbar
Ryan Dunbar is co-owner and co-founder of ATX Headshots. Ryan has been a full-time professional photographer for 21 years and a headshot specialist for 11, photographing executives, attorneys, real estate professionals, and corporate teams across Canada, the United States, and Asia. His clients include Scotiabank and BCV Asset Management.
Ryan ran a corporate headshot studio for nearly a decade before co-founding ATX Headshots. He built the session method ATX Headshots runs on today. After relocating to Austin, he rebuilt from zero and now serves individual professionals and corporate clients across the Austin metro area.
Ryan leads every client through active posing direction and expression coaching from the moment the session begins. The goal is always the same: an image that looks like you on your best day, not a version of you that looks stiff or like you are trying too hard.

Michael Wilkes
Michael Wilkes is co-owner and co-founder of ATX Headshots, bringing decades of experience across commercial, editorial, and corporate photography. His background spans a wide range of professional photography disciplines, from large-scale commercial productions to individual executive portraits, giving him a broad perspective on what makes an image work across different contexts and audiences.
