Individual sessions at our Cedar Park studio are priced as follows:

• Express Headshot Session — $225 for a 20-minute focused session, one outfit, single look
• Professional Headshot Session — $325 for up to one hour, multiple outfits and backgrounds
• Executive Branding Session — $525 for a two-hour private session with unlimited wardrobe changes

Retouched images are priced separately starting at $125 per image with volume discounts. Most professionals spend $350 to $700 total once one to three retouched images are added. This pricing model lets you only pay for the photos you actually want to use rather than a fixed package of images chosen in advance.

Express ($225, 20 minutes) produces one polished look ideal for LinkedIn and quick professional updates. One outfit, single background, in-session image review, step-by-step coaching.

Professional ($325, up to 1 hour) is the most popular choice. Multiple outfits and backgrounds, optional three-quarter length portraits, real-time image review, expert coaching throughout. Most clients select 3 to 4 final images.

Executive Branding ($525, 2 hours) is built for C-suite leaders, partners, founders, and senior professionals. Unlimited wardrobe changes, headshots plus three-quarter, seated, and full-body portraits, advanced posing and refinement, post-session retouching consult. Most executive clients select 5 to 7 final images.

Yes. A $50 deposit is required to secure your session. The deposit is applied in full toward your final image purchase, so it is not an extra fee. It simply confirms your reservation and locks the date.

The remaining session fee balance is paid at your session, and retouched images are purchased after you select your favorites at the end of your shoot.

Your session fee covers your dedicated studio time, full posing and expression coaching throughout, and in-session image review so you leave knowing exactly which images you are getting.

Retouched images are selected and purchased separately after your session. This way you only pay for the photos you actually want to use.

This pricing model gives you control. Rather than paying for a fixed package of images chosen in advance, you review every shot during your session and select only the images you want professionally retouched and delivered.

Many professionals only need one or two final images. Others want a full set across multiple use contexts. Both clients pay for what they actually use rather than the same flat package.

Yes. When you book any individual session, you can add a second person for an additional $100. Both of you will be photographed during the same session time. Contact the studio at (512) 790-8298 to arrange a shared session.

The studio is at 600 S. Bell Blvd, Suite 7, Cedar Park, TX 78613, twenty minutes north of downtown Austin. Free parking on-site, no shared lobby. Easily accessible from Leander, Round Rock, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Hutto, Lakeway, Bee Cave, and the broader Austin metro.

Online booking with instant confirmation is available six days a week. Choose your session type, pick a date and time, pay the $50 deposit, and you are booked. A prep email follows with everything you need to know about wardrobe, parking, and what to expect.

Most clients book 3 to 5 days out. We typically have availability within the same week, though high-demand windows around quarterly reviews, board meetings, and conference seasons fill faster. For Executive Branding sessions, plan one to two weeks ahead.

Ryan Dunbar personally photographs every individual session. No associates, no apprentices, no junior photographers. Twenty-one years behind the camera, eleven years specializing in headshots. The person you see in the reviews is the person photographing you.

When you arrive, we will get you settled, go through your wardrobe options, and choose a backdrop that works for your goals. From there I guide you through every pose and expression. You do not need any experience in front of a camera.

We take a break partway through to review images together and make adjustments based on what you like. At the end of your session, we go through all your images and you select the ones you want professionally retouched and delivered.

If you need to reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible. There is no penalty for rescheduling due to medical or health reasons.

To cancel and receive a full refund of your $50 deposit, we require at least 48 hours notice. There are no refunds for missed appointments or late cancellations under 48 hours.

Please do your best to arrive on time. If you arrive late, any missed time comes off your session. We cannot extend into the next client's appointment. There are no refunds for time lost due to late arrival.

Cedar Park traffic is typically light, but allow extra buffer during weekday rush windows.

Yes. The Cedar Park studio has a dedicated client change room with clothing storage and private restrooms. There is also a steamer on-site if you need a quick refresh on a wrinkled shirt or blazer.

Individual sessions are studio-only at our Cedar Park location. On-location sessions are available for corporate teams and large groups, with full mobile lighting, backdrop, and posing setup at your office or event space.

Solid colors photograph better than busy patterns. Reliable choices include navy, charcoal, white, cream, deep red, forest green, and muted jewel tones. Avoid bright florals, very thin stripes, small checks, and anything with a logo across the chest.

Fit matters more than style. A well-fitted shirt or blazer in a basic color outperforms an expensive piece that is too loose or too tight. Layers like blazers and jackets add depth and let us create variety within the same session.

For Express sessions, two outfit options is enough. For Professional and Executive sessions, three to four works well. A blazer over a different shirt counts as two looks.

Medium to dark solid colors are the most reliable across skin tones and use cases. Navy, charcoal, slate gray, deep burgundy, forest green, and rich jewel tones all read clean against neutral backdrops.

Pure white can wash out lighter skin tones and reflect heavily. Pure black can read flat and lose dimension under studio lighting. If you want white or black, choose softer alternatives like cream, ivory, or charcoal as the closest visual equivalents.

Avoid neon and high-saturation colors. The eye gets pulled to the brightest thing in the frame, and you want the viewer looking at your face.

A few things tend to underperform on camera regardless of personal style:

• Busy patterns. Thin stripes, small checks, and tight repeating patterns can create moiré (visual interference) under studio lighting.
• Loud logos or branding. Distracts from your face. Most professional contexts do better without.
• Anything baggy or ill-fitting. Loose fabric reads as bigger on camera than in person. Tight clothing reads as uncomfortable.
• Heavily wrinkled fabric. Bring a steamer or arrive early to use the studio steamer.
• Statement jewelry. Subtle accents work; large pieces compete with your face for attention.

Yes. Bringing a few outfit choices gives flexibility to pick what works best on camera for your skin tone, the backdrop, and your industry context. Some fabrics and patterns create visual interference under studio lighting that is hard to predict in your closet.

For Express sessions, two options is enough. For Professional and Executive sessions, three to four options works well. A blazer over a different shirt or top counts as a separate look.

Hair and makeup are not included in the session fee. Most working professionals arrive with their hair and makeup done as they would for an important meeting and photograph beautifully.

For Executive sessions and high-stakes images that will be used at scale, a professional hair and makeup artist can be arranged at additional cost. Contact the studio in advance if you would like to add this. You are also welcome to bring your own makeup for touch-ups or bring your own stylist.

A few things make a visible difference:

• Get a good night's sleep the night before. It shows in your skin and your eyes.
• Drink plenty of water in the days leading up. Hydrated skin photographs noticeably better.
• Try on your outfits a day or two ahead to make sure they fit well and do not need pressing.
• Avoid heavy meals or alcohol the night before, both can show up in puffiness.
• Bring reference photos if you have a specific look in mind. It helps me set up lighting and posing accordingly.

Most clients say exactly that before their session. Every session is fully coaching-based. I guide you through every pose and expression so you are never left standing there wondering what to do. We review images together during the session and adjust as we go.

By the end, most people are surprised by how comfortable it felt. The coaching is what separates a good headshot from a snapshot.

Glasses glare is a common concern and a solvable one. We use lighting angles and frame positioning that minimize reflections during the shoot. Any minor glare that does appear is corrected during retouching at no extra cost.

If you have anti-reflective coated lenses, even better. If you have the option, bring your glasses without the prescription tint or transition lenses, as those darken under studio lighting.

If you are due for one, schedule it 5 to 7 days before your session. That gives a fresh cut time to settle and look natural rather than freshly trimmed. A cut the day before sometimes looks too sharp on camera.

Same logic applies to color treatments and styling. Give it a few days to settle into your normal look.

Every selected image receives professional retouching covering:

• Blemish removal
• Minor stray hair removal
• Glasses glare reduction
• Teeth whitening (subtle)
• Natural wrinkle reduction
• Lint and clothing adjustments
• Color correction and exposure refinement

Our approach keeps retouching natural. You will look like yourself on your best day, not like a heavily filtered version of yourself. Retouched final images are typically delivered within two to three business days of your image selections. If you have a tight deadline, let us know at booking and we will do our best to accommodate.

Same-day or next-day rush retouching is available for an additional fee on most session types.

Retouched images are delivered via a private online gallery where you can download high-resolution JPG files from any device. The gallery includes both web-optimized and print-ready file sizes for each retouched image.

Your gallery remains accessible for a limited time after delivery. Download and back up your images promptly. If you need an alternative delivery format, just let us know.

Standard delivery is high-resolution JPG (sRGB color space, minimum 5000px on long edge). This format works for LinkedIn, company websites, business cards, press materials, speaker bios, and any other professional use.

TIF and PNG formats are available on request at no extra charge if you have specific use cases that require them (some print workflows or specialty applications).

Yes. Image selection happens at the end of your session while everything is fresh and you can compare options on screen with the photographer's input. We go through your images together and you choose the ones you want retouched and delivered.

There is no minimum purchase requirement, and most clients select 2 to 4 retouched images. You can always add more later, but the selection conversation happens at the studio.

No. RAW files are unfinished working files containing color, exposure, and focus settings that have not been processed. They are not part of our deliverables.

All purchased images are delivered as fully retouched, color-corrected, high-resolution JPG files ready for professional use. TIF or PNG format is available on request.

Yes. Send a sample of your existing headshot at booking and we will match the background color, lighting style, and crop so new images blend seamlessly with what you have. This is common for executives whose firms maintain consistent visual standards across leadership headshots.

Per-person pricing decreases as team size increases:

• 4 to 10 people — $150 per person
• 11 to 29 people — $130 per person
• 30 to 59 people — $110 per person
• 60+ people — custom quote

All rates include professional retouching on selected images. On-location sessions in the Austin metro include a flat $500 setup fee covering travel, equipment transport, setup, and teardown. Read more on corporate team pricing in Austin.

Both options are available depending on team size and logistics. On-location sessions at your Austin office are typical for teams of 8+ people. Smaller teams sometimes prefer the Cedar Park studio.

For on-location, we bring full professional lighting, backdrops, and equipment. We need a conference room or open space roughly 12x15 feet with reasonable ceiling height. Sessions run approximately 3 to 5 minutes per person once setup is complete.

Once we are set up at your office, sessions run approximately 3 to 5 minutes per person. A team of 20 can typically be photographed in under two hours including setup. A team of 50 generally takes a half day.

We provide a scheduling system so each team member arrives at their designated time slot, minimizing disruption to the working day.

Each team member receives an individual private gallery with their session images. They select their favorite for retouching, and the retouched final is delivered to them directly.

Yes. We regularly match background, lighting, crop, and retouching style for companies adding new hires to existing team pages or refreshing portions of a team. Send sample images at quote stage and we will match the look so new headshots blend seamlessly with your existing roster.

Yes. The corporate-pay new hire headshot program is built specifically for companies that onboard regularly. New hires book individually through a dedicated link, the company is invoiced directly, and every headshot matches the existing team style for consistency across LinkedIn and your company website.

ATX Headshots retains copyright ownership of all images. When you purchase retouched images, you receive a personal and professional usage license in perpetuity. You can use your headshots on:

• LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms
• Your company website and team pages
• Press materials and speaker bios
• Business cards and email signatures
• Any other platform to promote yourself professionally

Uses outside personal and professional self-promotion (such as advertising campaigns, stock licensing, or third-party commercial use) may require a separate commercial license. Most headshot clients never need this. Contact us if you have a specific use case in mind.

The general guideline is every two years, with industry-specific variations:

• Realtors, financial advisors, attorneys — annually, because clients choose you partly based on how credible and current you look
• Corporate executives — every two years, or with any significant career change
• Entrepreneurs and personal brand builders — every one to two years, more often if your audience or message has shifted
• Speakers, authors, public-facing professionals — whenever your brand or positioning changes

Update sooner if you have changed your hair, glasses, weight, or general appearance, or if your current photo no longer feels like you on a good day.

We send a Terms of Service document to all clients after booking. It covers what to expect from your session, our policies on retouching, delivery, and usage rights. It is not a contract in the traditional sense, just a clear written record of how we work together so there are no surprises.

Yes. We have a dedicated corporate-pay program for new hires and individual employees whose company covers the cost. You book through a dedicated link, your company is invoiced directly, and the session works the same as any individual booking.

If your company prefers reimbursement, you can also book a standard individual session and submit the receipt for expense.

Not strictly. The same headshot works well across LinkedIn, company website, business cards, and most professional contexts. What matters is that the image is current and shows you the way you want to be seen.

Some professionals prefer slightly different looks for different platforms, which is why Professional and Executive sessions allow for multiple outfit options. If you select 2 to 4 retouched images during your session, you can use a more formal look for LinkedIn and a slightly more approachable variation for your team page or speaker bio.

Yes. Your usage license covers all personal and professional self-promotion contexts including Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, YouTube channel banners, podcast cover art for personal podcasts, and any other platform where you are promoting yourself or your work.

Commercial advertising campaigns and licensing your image to third parties fall outside the standard license and require separate arrangement.
